Monsalve is primarily known for her role as the lead vocalist of the pop group from Venezuela Tartara and Latin Fiesta from London. Monsalve also hosted the television early morning program Alo RCTV in Caracas for more than a year. When she moved from Venezuela to United States from Venezuela in 2002, she participated in several stage plays and television productions. Within a couple of months, she started working as the Hispanic Representative to Rooms to Go. Monsalve was named the Telemundo local affiliate's sports reporter on the evening newscast in 2005. Monsalve began her career with ESPN in 2007 when she was appointed Sports Anchor on ESPN Deportes. She also broadcasted through ESPN 2 Central America, South America, as well for Sports Center Hispanics viewers. On the 28th of November, 2014, she declared she would be leaving ESPN, and later revealed she was joining Univision Deportes, now rebranded as TUDN.
