Monsalve is primarily known for her role as the lead vocalist of the Venezuelan pop group Tartara and Latin Fiesta from London. The show she hosted on TV Alo RCTV, which aired in Caracas every morning for nearly one year, was also an enormous success. After that, she relocated in the United States in 2002 where she was a part of numerous commercial and stage productions like Esther. In the following years, she was appointed as the Hispanic representative for Rooms to Go, a furniture manufacturer. Her role was as the local Telemundo affiliate's sport reporter on the evening newscast in 2005. In 2007, Monsalve was recruited by ESPN as Sports Anchor of ESPN Deportes broadcasting for Sports Center Hispanic viewers throughout North America, and also via ESPN 2 Central and South America. Monsalve announced that she was leaving ESPN in November of 2014. She later confirmed she was a part of Univision Deportes.
