Monsalve became famous due to her role as a voice of the group Venezuelan girl Chikas as well as the British-based pop group Latin Fiesta, and the Venezuelan Tartara. Over a longer amount of time, she also hosted the morning Alo RCTV TV program in Caracas. She moved to America in 2002, and has been featured in a variety of commercials, as well as stage productions, such Esther and The Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center. Soon, she became an official Hispanic spokesperson in the name of Rooms to Go, a furniture business. In 2005, she was the sports host for Telemundo Orlando's local affiliate 6:00 pm program in 2005. Monsalve started her career at ESPN in 2007 when she was named Sports Anchor on ESPN Deportes. She also broadcast on ESPN 2 Central America, South America, as well for Sports Center Hispanics viewers. Monsalve made it clear that she would be leaving ESPN in November of 2014. Monsalve later announced that she had joined Univision Deportes.
